Summary
The party met for the first time at Morgrave University, where Provost Geldem Droranath hired them to investigate mysterious ruins in the Mournland. After equipping themselves, they traveled via lightning rail toward the borders of the Mournland.

Part 1: The Meeting
The party members were summoned individually to Morgrave University's administration building. Provost Droranath explained that the university had received reports of newly discovered ruins near the edge of the Mournland - specifically, what appeared to be a monastery that hadn't been mapped before the Day of Mourning.
He offered 500 gold pieces plus a 20% share of any non-unique treasures found in exchange for exploring the ruins and returning with information and artifacts.
Part 2: Preparation
The party accepted the mission and spent the afternoon: - Purchasing supplies at the Lower Tavick's Landing markets - Researching the Mournland at the university library - Meeting each other and discussing their skills and backgrounds
Part 3: The Journey Begins
The party boarded the lightning rail bound for Vathirond, the last major settlement before the Mournland. During the journey: - They encountered a suspicious warforged passenger (didn't interact much) - Shared stories about their backgrounds - Discussed strategies for exploring the ruins
