This section contains detailed information about each player character in the campaign. Each character has their own dedicated page with background, stats, and development notes.

New Character Set Up Points

When creating your character for the Champions of Khorvaire, there are a few points to keep in mind in both the general character mechanics and in the D&D Beyond character sheet.

  • Characters start the campaign at level 3 in XP to allow various character configurations.
  • Posting and providing your character's backstory is appreciated as your DM does want to incorporate them in the campaign.
  • When creating your character in D&D Beyond, there are a few settings you are going to want to set.
    • Note: Character Sheets hooked up through D&D Beyond are visible to the DM and editable to help with your character management.
    • For content sources selection on the first page of character creation, the following should be set to target the content of the campaign:
      • Homebrew
      • Core Rules
      • Expanded Rules
    • The following sources will need to be unchecked for this campaign:
      • 2014 Expanded Rules
      • Legacy/Noncore
    • Advacement Type: XP
    • Multiclass Requirements
    • Encumberance Type: Use Encumberance
    • If there is a setting on the page that is not called out here specifically, you can set it to your choice for your character.
    • Points Buy is how abilities stats will be assigned, so feel free to advantage your characters where you feel you need to.
